TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Every translation is treated as a single project. Hence, the secret behind our quality translations is the adoption of an efficient project management system.
Our proprietary Management Software traces activities from the acknowledgment of orders through to invoicing. This program includes the qualification of translators and the monitoring of individual jobs, thus enabling us to trace the translator’s work throughout the year.
It also manages and stores the progress and any relevant information concerning the translation process, including standard and customised Quality controls.
Our system is operated by customer-oriented project managers, with longstanding experience in the field, whose aim is to ensure that every customer project is monitored and submitted in time.
Translation quality
Our Quality System is ISO 9001 certified. Furthermore, we believe that the project begins at the time of discussing your translation requirements, which we shall do all in our power to fulfil in a professional, responsible and fully customised manner. On the basis of your specific and unique needs, we shall appoint a project manager, reflecting the necessary experience, who will create a team of translators and suppliers, define appropriate resources and apply the relevant Quality procedures, executing all the mandatory and customised controls and tests. Our quality program also determines how and when we are to report to customers, how we deliver projects and invoice at the end of the project, and how and how long we will file a copy of your jobs.
Translation Accuracy
The use of mother tongue professionals is a fundamental requisite. We only employ native-speaking professional translators selected on the basis of their know-how and specialisations. In compliance with the company’s Quality System, the following standard controls are applied to each translation: completeness and uniformity (i.e. all texts are translated and their contents correctly transposed), spelling and punctuation (i.e. rereading of texts and/or software controls, for example by the MS-Word spell check), consistency and accuracy of style (i.e. consistent vocabulary throughout the document, including headings, chapters, the index, etc.), consistency of terminology and vocabulary (i.e. the correct use of vocabulary as regards the context). We will not deliver the finished document until these controls have been performed. We may also adopt any further quality checks so as to align with your own processes.

PUBLISHING
We accept every file format, and are able to deliver ready-to-publish files, PDFs or printed documents, as required. We support all Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org Office suite applications, both Windows and Macintosh DTP programs (including Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, PageMaker, Interleaf Quicksilver, Microsoft
Office Publisher, QuarkXPress), and various design applications (e.g. CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Fireworks, PhotoShop etc.). We also create, translate and publish XML, SGML and HTML documentation. Translated documents can be supplied in any software format, as PDFs or printed. We are Adobe Authorized Print Service Provider .
CONFIDENTIALITY
Translations are handled in a strictly confidential manner and Soget’s translators are asked to sign a commercial confidentiality clause and a corporate nondisclosure agreement.
