translation into Estonian translationitalian - Estonian

Over 30 years of experience translating Estonian and other 100 languages, in all the main specialisation sectors.
The translation process ( especially for Estonian) goes beyond the simple conversion of text from one language to another. Every text contains a specific message which must be transmitted in its entirety into Estonian and in another language, in line with the text's informative and cultural context. Furthermore, we also carry out DTP services, localize websites and develop software in Estonian.

Particular features: Estonian is spoken throughout Estonia, except for the cities nearest the Russian border, where only Russian is used. It is one of the rare European idioms that does not belong to the Indo-European group, but rather to the Finno-Ugric family, like Hungarian, Finnish and Lapp. Estonian is an agglutinative language with fourteen cases (both singular and plural). In recent years it has borrowed terms from Swedish, Danish, Russian and even English. In older times it drew liberally from German and other Germanic languages spoken in Saxony. Estonian, which uses many Germanic, Baltic and Slavic words, is particularly similar to Finnish. The distinction between long and overlong is, in practice, as much a matter of syllable stress (involving pitch) as duration. Long and overlong vowels are not distinguished in written Estonian. In Estonian nouns and pronouns do not have grammatical gender, but nouns and adjectives decline in fourteen cases. The script uses the Latin alphabet. In Macintosh 8.x and 9.x systems, Estonian requires the use of EC fonts with Baltic language support
