Sworn translations in all languages
Documents or certificates to be submitted to Italian or foreign authorities are subject to an oath known in jargon as a sworn translation”. This is a protocol that gives the translated document the same legal worth as the original.
In providing the sworn translation of legal and administrative documents, economic/financial and scientific texts, and personal or school certificates, SOGET selects native translators registered with the technical consultant Rolls of the Courts of Justice and the Italian Chamber of Industry, Craft and Agriculture (C.C.I.A.A.), guaranteeing the quality and truthfulness of the translated document.
Sworn translations include:
- Judgments, powers of attorney, contracts and notary deeds
- Title searches, financial statements, notes to the accounts, patents and insurance policies
- Adoption documents, birth, marriage and marital status certificates, driver’s licenses, vehicle registration documents and school diplomas
- Scientific publications and leaflets
Upon request, SOGET can also obtain the legalisation of sworn translations from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and, in order to simplify the bureaucratic processes involved, also from consulates based in the city of Milan.
