SOGET RANKS AMONG TOP TEN LANGUAGE SERVICE PROVIDERS IN SOUTHERN EUROPE
Soget confirms its ranking among the top ten language service providers in Southern Europe, according to the report “The Language Services Market 2016” drawn up by the prestigious US research institute, Common Sense Advisory.
Every year, the institute publishes a list of the leading language service providers in terms of revenue, both globally and in individual macro-regions. In 2016, Soget has confirmed its placement – already achieved in 2015 – in the top ten ranking for Southern Europe, and is among the top three companies in its industry in its native Italy.
“This result was made possible by the trust shown in us by our customers,” says Enrico Viazzo, CEO of Soget. “Such customers include many major national and international brands, and small and medium-size companies marked by an innovative and dynamic approach. With them, we have established a co-design partnership targeted at developing customised solutions capable of meeting specific global and multilingual communication needs.”
Soget offers its customers extensive experience gained in nearly 40 years in the language services business. In addition to translation and interpreting, its services include website and multimedia localization, desktop publishing, transcreation and international SEO. All this is backed by strong assets, ranging from our collaboration with top-rate professionals, to the adoption of consolidated and effective workflows and a strong technology platform.
The language services market is rapidly changing and, according to Common Sense Advisory, looks set to continue to grow, driven by the forces of globalisation and by the exponential growth of the Internet, mobile technology, e-commerce, IoT (Internet of Things). All of which boost demand for multilingual content.
“In this scenario,” says Mr Viazzo, “Soget is ready to seize the new opportunities offered by language-related technology developments in order to provide its customers ever more effective front-line support in tackling the international challenge.”
Recognition by Common Sense Advisory follows on the heels of another important milestone: recently, Soget became one of the first language service providers in Italy to be certified under the new international UNI EN ISO 17100:2015 standard, specifically related to translation services.
