PROCESSES BEHIND EVERY ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Pursuant to our Quality Management System, every translation, localisation and DTP project must follow specific, documented procedures, i.e.:

Quotes requests may be made 24 hours a day, through our online forms;
We will soon provide a precise quotation, highlighting the number of words to be translated and providing an analysis of the text based on the use of a translation memory. In this manner, Soget places at the client's disposal the strategies and tools required to reduce costs and production times. Furthermore, any additional management, DTP and printing services required will also be quoted.
English translations are carried out rigorously and exclusively by mother tongue professionals. Soget's selection requirements are based on academic and cultural training, flanked by adequate IT skills and above all by developed linguistic and technical translation know how, supported by longstanding experience in various areas of specialisation.
All translations from and into English are managed by an experienced Project manager, who tracks the project in all its stages and guarantees the quality of the work submitted and compliance with the customer's instructions. At Soget, we have an internal English mother tongue PM, who acts as a full time language consultant, carrying out specific controls, defining terminology and drafting job-specific glossaries, in order to guarantee high quality English translations at all times;

TRANSLATION MEMORIES AND GLOSSARIES
Soget uses Computer Aided Translation packages (CAT) such as Across, Trados and Star for all translations into and from English. This software supports the translation process and offers a series of undisputable advantages: the ability to work directly on source files, homogeneous terminology, and a significant reduction in costs and lead times.

ADDITIONAL PROCESSES BEHIND THE MANAGEMENT OF ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS

Customers outsource Corporate Translation Management (CTM) services to Soget, so that its translation software and resources integrate with the customer’s IT structure. This is the perfect opportunity to obtain the final product in the language, format and timeframe required, without having to allocate internal staff to the job.
In addition, Soget also updates existing English documentation. Product catalogues and technical manuals constantly need to be updated: new product data, or simply additional information, must be adapted to any existing foreign language versions of the documentation, aimed at different markets. To this end, Soget updates English technical texts (and the relating translation memories) and graphical layouts (drawings and other graphic elements), issuing the final product and archiving same.

Confidentiality and data protection are regarded at Soget as necessary elements in supporting communication, production processes and corporate tradition. We request our translators, who operate at all times in strict observance of the professional secrecy act, to sign general and job-specific confidentiality agreements.
You may send us documents and data rapidly and manage online projects in real time through our ISA Server, which provides customers secure access to our corporate network.
Our company infrastructure is securely safeguarded against spamming and viruses, and automatically backs up all data.
Finally, cryptography protects the customer's need for confidentiality through encoded emails and attachments.
