[Projects based on SDL Trados Translation Memories]

Soget has obtained the SDL Trados Language Service Provider certification, attesting to its in depth knowledge of this software.

We manage projects based on SDL Trados 2007, Synergy and SDL Trados Suite 2009.

Our SDL TM Server allows us to access the Soget worldwide translation team and:

centralize Translation Memory assets to increase consistency and efficiency,
manage access rights and maintain ownership of Translation Memories,
connect translators, internal teams, and customer reviewers.

Soget Project Managers, translators and reviewers boast a long standing experience in the use of Trados systems, as attested by our certification; this allows us to manage complex projects autonomously, handling all technical and language aspects: aligning texts to create new translation memories and managing all document formats supported by SDLX and SDL Trados Studio 2009.

Said certification allows our customers to avail of the advantages offered by state of the art translation technologies and the CCM (Create, Cleanse and Maintain) methodology in the management of projects:

Create terminology - The creation of specialised glossaries produces consolidated corporate terminology to be used in carrying out quality controls. The use of MultiTerm Extract facilitates the creation of glossaries and the approval of new terms.
Cleanse translation memories - The vast range of Quality control functions available through Trados 2007 enables the use of translation memories free of incorrect terms, obsolete translations and grammatical, spelling and formatting errors.
Maintain translation memories - The use of Multiterm enables an entire terminology database to be kept up to date throughout the process of translating and updating documentation.

We produce Multiterm glossaries to manage corporate terminology.

Translations based on Trados TMs are provided in all the languages and alphabets supported by the software, and in the following formats: HTML, XML, SGML, XLIFF, Interleaf Quicksilver, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenOffice, StarOffice, Clipboard, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker and QuarkXPress.

Our DTP department oversees the translated documents, checking they are complete and accurately laid out, in any format, creating master copies and PDFs, and handling all printing aspects or their publication on multimedia devices or the Internet.

Finally, our localisation department adopts the best solutions for the translation and updating of website contents, using Trados memories to process contents in HTML, XML or XLIFF.
