Indeed, we have translated tens of thousands of pages over the past two decades. In particular, we have translated manuals and technical drawings concerning the seamless pipes produced by Italiampianti (now SMS Demag) and Dalmine in Volskij.
More recent projects include the Russian translation of technical documentation for offshore platforms in Baku, Azerbaijan.

SPECIALISED RUSSIAN TRANSLATIONS
We mainly specialise in Russian technical translations.
Our wide database of Russian translators enables us to produce translations in numerous fields and sectors.
Translations from Italian or English into Russian and vice versa are conducted primarily by mother tongue engineers with long-standing experience in the chemical, civil, construction, electronic, electrotechnical, IT, mechanical, metallurgical and oil sectors.

COORDINATED IMAGE
We produce graphic and marketing material, availing of the same extensive range of fonts and printing resources as for western languages. Such material includes: brochures, leaflets, catalogues, presentations, movie credits and subtitles, etc. In these cases, we ensure the western and Cyrillic fonts adopted always match.

RUSSIAN TRANSLATIONS AND DTP IN ALL THE MAIN SOFTWARE FORMATS
We can translate directly onto source files and produce documents in Russian and other Cyrillic languages in all the main software formats.
Translations may then be maintained in the same source format or be worked, internally in our offices, via the main authoring, Dtp or Office programs, such as:

We have handled vast documentation projects targeted at important international projects, including translating drawings in Autocad and other CAD or Microsoft Visio systems.
Our solutions allow us to operate directly on original formats (.dwg, .dwf, .vsd, etc.), translating repetitive texts automatically and avoiding the re-elaboration of the Cyrillic script. Such solutions considerably reduce translation costs and production times.

Soget provides the customer with a PDF file for all documents translated, localised or published in Russian.
Thus, the customer may use our translations directly for distribution, consultation and printing purposes, without the need to purchase extra software.

RUSSIAN TRANSLATION MEMORIES AND GLOSSARIES
We produce translations into and from Russian using translation memory based tools (see CAT: Computer Aided Translation) capable of managing the Cyrillic alphabet, such as Across Language Server (Soget is an accredited Across partner),

Sdl Trados (Soget is Sdl Trados certified),

Star Transit, etc.

The main plus points afforded by these systems are a reduction in costs, shorter lead times, the ability to work on source files and uniform terminology.
As regards the latter aspect, of fundamental importance in the production of quality translations, Soget provides its customers with translation memories and glossaries complying with GUIs and standards, resulting in consolidated sector terminology.
Soget can create new translation memories (using previously translated texts) or convert existing memories.
