Soget manages some of the best resources in Mandarin Chinese, a language spoken by over a billion people.
Our specialised Chinese translators are flanked by the most effective technical script, DTP and printing resources in simplified Chinese, or Pinyin (the writing system in use in the People's Republic of China), and in traditional Chinese (used in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).
Fully aware of the ever increasing needs of national and international concerns to offer the Chinese market technical and marketing documentation, we have devised a series of services aimed at creating new brochures, presentations and websites and at adapting existing technical manuals and drawings to the local culture and tastes.
TRANSLATIONS IN ALL THE MAIN SOFTWARE FORMATS
We handle files to be translated into or from Chinese in all the software format.
Translations can be preserved in the same format or be worked internally using all the main authoring, Word or suite Office and Dtp programs, such as:

Compatibility is extended to applications distributed on the Asian markets (e.g. Inchinese) and to management and encoding tools such as TwinBridge.
Our resources enable us to use Chinese documents produced or translated using Windows, for DTP activities in Macintosh, and vice versa.
DTP SERVICES IN SIMPLIFIED AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE
Our skills and resources allow us to produce layouts with both horizontal left-to-right scripts and vertical right-to-left scripts, thus enabling us to produce both modern and conventional documents.
Furthermore, we also possess the necessary IT resources to use the original western language layout to produce the Chinese document. This allows us, for example, to provide artwork in the local QuarkXpress version, without forcing the customer or printer to purchase and learn how to use the Chinese edition of QuarkXpress.
COMPUTER AIDED TRANSLATIONS IN CHINESE
Soget uses translation memories also for Chinese translations (see: CAT technologies).
All translations from and into Chinese may be produced using CAT systems such as Across, SDL Trados and Star.
The main advantages to these systems are cost reductions, shorter production times, the ability to work on original files and consistent terminology.

SIMPLIFIED AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE WEBSITE TRANSLATIONS
Soget guarantees the full translation and localisation package, implementing "culture oriented" activities so as to produce contents suited to the local Chinese audience.
Said activities include code localisation, so as to enable the double-byte Chinese fonts to be viewed correctly on any browser, and the management of meta tags to promote search engine indexation in Chinese.
Chinese localisations are provided for all multimedia products: Flash and Avi movies, Mpegs, etc.
