We have a great experience in technical Arabic translations.

Indeed, our Arabic translations include countless instruction and maintenance manuals, drawings and training documentation for some of the leading international projects, among which the thermoelectric power stations and desalination plants of Jeddah and Al Jubail, the international airports of Jeddah and Riyadh, the national telephone exchanges of Saudi Arabia and Libya, etc.
We have produced thousands of pages of technical documentation, mainly from English, Italian and German into Arabic, but often also from other languages spoken by sub-contractors.
We have also produced Arabic technical/linguistic components such as:

• English-Arabic bilingual identification tags
• CAD technical drawings (Autocad .dwg and .dxf), Visio drawings and wall charts (also with dual Arabic-Hindi numerals)
• folder titles and overprints (also in gold)

We provide translations in modern standard Arabic – the written language common to all Middle Eastern countries – as well as country-specific texts (e.g. Egyptian, Saudi Arabian, Maghreb Arabic, etc.), translated or proofread by mother tongue locals.

ARABIC TRANSLATIONS IN THE MAIN SOFTWARE FORMATS

Vast font libraries, calligraphers and expert graphic operators enable us to produce brochures, catalogues and marketing documents in Arabic.

We can translate directly onto source files and produce Arabic documents in all the main software formats.
Translations may be produced in the original format or reworked in the main authoring, Dtp and Office programmes, such as:

• Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Corel Draw
• QuarkXpress
• Microsoft Office: Expression, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint Design, Visio, Word
• OpenOffice

Arabic XT and Al-Rassam Al-Arabi are also supported.

We hold DTP systems supporting the Arabic script, such as the Middle East Edition of Adobe Creative Suite and QuarkXpress.
We also possess additional software (plugins, add-ons, extensions, etc.) for right-to-left scripts within standard applications. This allows us, for example to subtitle moves in Arabic.

Soget provides the customer with a PDF file for all documents translated, localised or published in Arabic.
Thus, the customer may use our translations directly for distribution, consultation and printing purposes, without the need to purchase extra software.

Flash movies in Arabic

Soget is one of the few companies that can translate and produce Flash movies in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu and other languages not directly supported by Adobe Flash.

ARABIC TRANSLATION MEMORIES AND GLOSSARIES
We produce translations to and from Arabic using CAT ( Computer Aided Translation) tools such as Across, Sdl Trados and Star Transit, correctly managing the right-to-left script.
The principal plus points to these systems are cost reduction, shorter lead times, the ability to work on source files and uniform terminology.
Soget creates new translation memories (on the basis of previously translated Arabic translations) or converts memories with Ansi, Arabic Windows, etc. fonts in Unicode.

ARABIC WEBSITES
We produce websites in Arabic, managing all production phases as far as publication on the Internet.
We translate and localise websites, adapting the layout to the special characteristics of the Arabic language and the use of local cultural and religious conventions.
