The question "will terminology be consistent and in line with the company jargon?" is an understandable and constant worry when having a document translated.
This worry has become a fundamental concern in Soget's translation work.
Our Project Managers, aided by translators and terminology experts, identify critical terms both through the traditional approach of analysing reference documents and using sector dictionaries and vocabularies, and though the use of advanced automated systems (data mining) and IT tools capable of extrapolating critical terms within the documentation on the basis of statistical and morphosyntactic criteria.
The glossaries thus obtained may be amended and approved by the customer.
As with translation memories, approved glossaries form part of the terminology database available to all the translators required for a single project, thus guaranteeing consistency and uniformity.

In the event of the glossary or dictionary being the actual product commissioned, this may be delivered in proprietary formats, such as Multiterm, CrossTerm for databases, or in a specifically requested template.
