INDESIGN DOCUMENT CREATION
In the former case, our services focus on analysing, structuring and creating brand new documentation - including graphics - and, upon request, involve typographical or digital printing (including activities aimed at optimising and validating PDFs).
Our products include manuals and instruction booklets; image-related documents, brochures and leaflets; catalogues, presentations, educational and training literature, e-books and monitor display products.
INDESIGN DOCUMENT TRANSLATION
In the second case, we translate new documents and update existing ones.
The use of the most modern CAT (Computer Aided Translation) technologies allows us to translate manuals, catalogues and other documents directly in Adobe InDesign, avoiding the need to re-paginate each language version produced.
We translate and paginate in all the main languages, including Asian ones, and, thanks to the InDesign ME version, we also handle languages written from right to left such as Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi.
DOCUMENT CONVERSION AND MIGRATION
Furthermore, we offer numerous solutions to convert texts between different operating systems and to migrate corporate documentation from one format to another (e.g. from PageMaker to InDesign or from Interleaf to FrameMaker).

Analysis of Adobe InDesign CS3
Adobe InDesign CS3 speeds up production flows and offers a creative integrated operating system for the design of professional layouts complete with graphic elements and sophisticated typographical fonts.
The product is sold separately or as a component of the Adobe® Creative Suite® 3 Design Premium and Standard, the suites that include the main Adobe printing web publishing applications and mobile devices, such as: Photoshop® CS3, Illustrator® CS3, Flash® CS3, Dreamweaver® CS3 and Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional.
Some of the most significant innovations of the CS3 version – especially important in the production of multilingual documentation – are: exportation as XHTML (multiformat publishing), rule-based XML layout (scripts for applying rules to automatically created page layouts and for formatting XML text and graphics), automation through scripting in JavaScript, AppleScript and VBScript and, finally, improved support of extended documents.
In addition to the main western language versions (including Italian), others tackling central European and Middle Eastern languages, such as Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Arabic and Hebrew are now also available.
We believe that Adobe InDesign CS3 is the best version currently available for the production of multilingual documentation. Through the combined use of western and middle-eastern versions, Indesign CS3 enables texts in virtually every language to be integrated in a single layout.
Excellent management of fonts and, in particular, of Opentype families with multilingual Unicode tables.

What it offers:
- Thorough text and graphic controls and extended functions similar to those of QuarkXpress, with which it competes.
- It integrates with other Adobe applications, with which it shares a common interface, better than any other professional design tool.
- It allows specific styles to be automatically applied to Microsoft® Word files during importation, mapping the styles of Word.
- Facilitates the creation of tables.
- One of the program's strengths is the possibility of opening QuarkXpress and PageMaker files.
- Enables the creation of multilevel PDFs.
Exportation and languages:
As well as exporting in the proprietary format, CS3 also exports in InDesign Interchange (.inx), a version compatible with previous formats, and in Adobe PDF, XML, SVG, HTML, EPS and printing files. Exportation further enables the creation of a set of data for subsequent importation and elaboration in Dreamweaver®.
The International version enables direct management of the leading western, Cyrillic, Baltic and central European languages, as well as Greek and Eastern languages. Unfortunately, right-to-left scripts are not supported (Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew, etc.), for which languages the use of the localised Adobe InDesign ME (Middle East) version is required.
Many localised versions are available.
