Soget translates into Czech, Croatian, Polish, Rumanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian and Hungarian as well as Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian.
Central European languages include Czech, Croatian, Polish, Rumanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian and Hungarian, whereas Baltic languages include Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian.
Although they use most of the Latin alphabet (Western fonts), each of these languages requires the use of particular accented characters which, before Unicode encoding, were grouped in the Latin 2 and ISO 8859-2 codes.

Example of CE fonts

Example of Baltic fonts
Texts produced in said languages require the use of appropriate font families, conventionally called CE (Central Europe) in Type 1 or TTF fonts and Pro (Professional) in Opentype fonts.

Example of Opentype Pro typefaces
The use of CE fonts in Macintosh systems 7, 8 and 9 also requires the use of specific scripts and the activation of appropriate local keyboards.
